Your own description of contractions?

I have Braxton hicks contractions quite often. But for the last week have been having a lot if painfull menstural cramps/ feeling like I have to poo, contractions. It is hard for me to time them, because when I am havig. These cramps they either come very often and don't last long, for example have 3-5 bad cramps lasting about 30 seconds every 5 minutes but then they stop for hours and hours. Like last night. I also get nauseas when I get them. And ever since my midwife checked my cervix yesterday the cramping and contractions have progressed a whole lot. I'm curious of others feelings/ experiences, current or past

That is definitely what contractions feel like, but until they are consistent and stay consistent, they are probably still BH. Good luck!

Those are def contractions that both of you are describing but it's normal to have them and them not be regular. If you can time them every 5 min for 1 min in length over an hrs period, then I'd get to labor and delivery.

I'm in the same boat. I'm getting more period like cramps in my lower pelvis and the feeling of having to go number 2. I'm also getting a lot more lower back pain like closer to my tail bone.
