1cm dilated at 36 weeks

Hello ladies,
I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and I'm 1cm dilated, does this mean I'm going to have my baby soon or can I stay at 1cm for weeks? Can you please share your experience?

My cousin walked around at 4 cm from 29 weeks. Ended up going full term and had to be induced. Unfortunately it doesn't really mean anything :/

I am 35 weeks +1day and 8 cm dilated (since a week)
Started dilating since 27weeks! (Every week 1cm) hahahahaaa

I'm 37w4d and 3 centimeters dilated, lost my mucus plug already and having some contractions here and there but doctor said that baby still has to go down or I can be like this for a week or two.

You can sit at up2 3cms for weeks before labour is in full swing.  Good luck ladies.

I've been 1cm since I was 35 weeks I'm now 36weeks and 3 days. Doc stopped me from going into labour. Can't say if you going into labour for sure. Baby will come when she's ready good luck mommy
