Wanna be careful with braxten hicks tho they can sometimes appear somewhat like menstrual cramps ifnyouvget more then a few in a hour you needbto go to l&_d but of course call Dr ahead of time your doctor should always have someone on call. Good luck and keep hydrated

I'm 21 wks and baby's movements are getting stronger! I definitely having the little popping sensations you mentioned which are kicks. Occasionally, I also feel a hardening of one area of my tummy... Maybe every other day. It's uncomfortable but not painful. How exciting that my baby is getting big enough for me to feel his little bottom and head!

This is my first too and I feel all different aches and pains, all of which I have survived and put down to growing pains (round ligament pain) which I define as anything that hurts that I can't call something else haha!!

The big popping or gas sensations r the  babies movements..at this point 22weeks baby should be stretched out so u may feel him/her all over now.  Braxton hicks feels like a strong tightening feeling, almost like a muscle spasm but nit exactly..ur stomach gets hard then will release.  This is how contractions also feel but much much stronger and painful.  Braxton hicks r very uncomfortable, but most can probably handle them unless u have 0 pain tolerance, which some do.  If it becomes to intense I would go to e.r. or dr for precautionary check....I hope this helps.
