Numbness.
I woke up this morning with my hands feeling numb. It is now 4 hours later and the feeling still remains. Might it be a sign of a underlying problem?
I've been getting numb hands my whole pregnancy. Very annoying.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It's caused by the extra fluid you carry when pregnant. The midwife can give you wrist splints to help keep them straight and reduce the pressure which causes the numbness, but that's it I'm afraid! You just have to get used to it until it goes away after the birth.
