Anyone else??

I am 38 + 1 weeks. Last night I had full blown contractions. 10 minutes apart for 20 - 30 seconds. This went on for 3 hours and dropped down to 7 minutes apart. They started fading and now nothing this morning, just really achy. Has this happend to anyone before or is happening to them as well? What was the outcome or information you were given? Thank you x

Maybe a little suggestion thia may help but nipple stimulation causes your body to release oxytocin which is what causes uterine contractions.  Maybe next time you get them try that to keep them going. Also try walking. Maybe thia means you are getting closer to the real thing happening.
Dont worry though momma's we are all almost there.

Yeah it stinks being sent home after getting excited about contractions! Lol but our little ones will be here before we know it! I got a birthing ball yesterday and bounced on it for a little bit and contractions started but not strong enough for me to go in. I hope we both can go into labor soon!! Good luck!!

Aww thats not so good. Hope I don't have this for weeks. I haven't been up to see midwife about it. They would just send me home. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Hope it gets better for you soon xx

I've been having the same issue for about a week now and I've gone to the hospital (per the doc on call) 3 times for them and since I'm not dilated much they won't keep me. They just give me a pain shot to make me comfortable and send me home. My midwife told me to help me sleep through them, to take tylenol pm
