Beyond Frustrated (rant)

Today I was supposed to have my 1st real doctors appt which I was really looking forward to (had a m/c last yr @ 8wks & being preggo again makes me anxious)... However when I got to the office the receptionist curtly informed me that I actually missed my appt 10days ago & that the doc works at a different location. I was livid, not only was she rude but I wasn't informed of either of these things the last 2 times I was there. The cherry on top, the soonest appointment they could set up would be weeks from now with a different doctor...like no, I'm already 12wks 1day & I have a history of m/c & you wanna see me when I'm 15wks 6days?...B S.

@Alicia1986   Ugh! That is so frustrating! Seeing a doctor when your pregnant is so important and they act like it doesn't matter at all, pushing it off for weeks and weeks. Ridiculous, all I really wanted was to at least hear my baby's heartbeat.

I went to an gynae before getting pregnant and he referred me on to IVF thinking I would come back to him but no way! Makes u wait hrs and if he has a Caesar at the hospital he cancels appointments and reschedules for weeks later when you have already waited weeks! Absolutely crap!

I had to twist some arms but I got them to send my blood work over to another OB that I've been to before and now I have a nice female doc that will see me on Dec 4th...I'm relieved but omg, I think that would make any ftm in my situation upset, especially because my hubby won't be able to make it this time but at least I'll get to be sure our little one is okay.
