I have been having them since 17 weeks (third pregnancy). But they never feel like cramping to me, just stomach tightening. Definitely get it checked out if it's accompanied by cramping.

Yes, I have been getting them about 10 times a day lasting a few seconds to a few minutes. Mine started a couple weeks ago too. I am 21 weeks today. I asked my dr about them and he said it's normal as long as they aren't coming in a pattern and aren't 3 min apart. So far no pattern I get them spuratically.  This is my second baby so I think that is why I am getting this early. They are more painful than I remember them being with my daughter. Sometimes I have to stop what I'm doing and take aren't part deep breath... ahh the joys of pregnancy lol

Just get it checked out or mention it to ur dr at your next appt.  Sometimes ppl mistake preterm signs as braxton hicks. Safe then  sorry
