Anyone else having MIL issues?

My MIL won't leave us alone. She invites herself over weekly and she always takes my son from me and anyone else who might be holding him. She is extremely rude and disrespectful. We just moved to a bigger house and she keeps calling our extra room "her bedroom." I really need a break from her, she is smothering me and I can't take it. I guess I just need to vent. (It goes way back and she treats me like ****) anyone else have an overbearing MIL that they don't get along with?

My SO moms came and stayed with us after our son was born and it felt that way. I am lucky enough that she lives on the other side of the country. But it was terrible. You just need to tell you MIL to ask before coming over and that it is not her room and also dont let her take the baby.  Thata rude. Stand up for yourself now before it gets worse

Yes we are staying with her. She thinks she knows everything! She has tried grab him out of my arms when he got fussy. I don't let her... Being a new mother I want to be able to calm my son and take care of him without her or anyone else trying to grab him away as soon as he fusses a bit! I just tell her I can handle it. You should do the same just say no simple as that. If you don't put your foot down it will NEVER stop! My son has a 7 year old brother (his father's) and she thinks he is her son. She out rules my fiancé all the time. She has even said when we move that he is not allowed to take him!!! Hah! Not happening with my son...
