My hospital does it too! You actually fill out all the paperwork at your very first appointment so I did it when I was only 8 weeks.
I wish our hospital had that. They make you sign stuff while your in labor having contractions. Your lucky.
They do it at my hospital as well. It's pretty much paperwork that will have to be submitted inorder for you to stay at the hospital on the big day. It's also consent forms that you sign ahead of time. So when your hurting and geting seen cause your in labor, the nurses isn't throwing insurance paper work at you
