CRAZYY HEARTBURN PROBLEMS..

Hey Ladies Im 25 Weeks Today. Ive Been Having Heartburn For About 10 Weeks Now But At This Point I Cant Take It. I Get It Every Second Of The Day Even If I Dont Eat. My Doctor Put Me On Nexium Today. Has Anyone Taken It Before? And If I Start To Stop My Heartburn Will My Little Boy Come Out With No Hair?

Ninjakelly, it is true that if you have heartburn you will most likely have a baby with a head of hair.

I haven't been put on any drugs for the heartburn . but I understand how you feel the heartburn is killer. I heard if you have a lot of heart burn your baby will have lots of hair . anyone know if there's any truth to this or if its a myth?

I had terrible heartburn last week. A friend suggested I try 2tsp of organic Apple cider vinegar in 5oz of water. It worked! After about 20 minutes my symptoms subsided and I was able to sleep.

When I have heartburn I drink a glass of 2% milk. It neutralizes the acids in your stomachs. It really helps and is good for you and the baby.

Be careful with zantac too close to delivery...  it will give you a false positive on your urine drug screen.  I work in Labor and delivery and it happens all the time.  Then you have to deal with testing the baby and talking with social services.

I'm at 25wks tomorrow and feel you on the horrible heartburn! It has been 24/7! I tried OTC zantac which worked for a couple of weeks. Now I take OTC prilosec once a day and it's been a life saver! That's what I would recommend. My ob used it when she was recently pregnant too.

Be careful of what u take some heartburn medicine can stop u absorbing iron. If u can't ask ur dr try asking a pharmacist.

I had a nasty flair up on Tuesday that caused me to have some nasty contractions so I got put on nexium as well I hope it helps as well ... but I doubt he will be born with no hair.. ask your ob for any concerns

Try something minty. That usually helps me with my heartburn.
