First time mummy anxiously awaiting first scan

So I'm dead excited just found out I'm 7 weeks with our first baby. I've had some bleeding at around 5 weeks but Dr won't refer me for an early scan. I've decided to pay to go private as I really just need to know the baby is still ok. Is anyone else anxiously  waiting your first scan? Xx

I have my ultrasound tomorrow. I had an ectopic pregnancy in feb so they are monitoring me closely.

Yep!  I'm in week 5 and bleeding, light but bleeding.  I've asked to be scanned but they scan me until week 7, if I still have a positive test at that stage.  I've had 3 miscarriages before and it's been 4 years since I had a positive. It's just torture not knowing :(
Good luck.
