If you don't want to take meds everytime u have heartburn and sour stomach, eat RIPE PAPAYA... its a stomach soother. You can also make a protein smoothie with papaya. I ate it earlier because I had a terrible epigastric pain and my stomach was upset since last night...and then I ate a slice of papaya, and wow its a lifesaver...I don't know if it will work for you, but it did for me...at least! :)
