On my 8w4d i had my most painful headache in my entire life...i did not take any medicine because i am afraid that might affect my baby.i used conventional way, i got cold water with cube ice then i put my facetowel to cold water then i put the cold towel to my head, ears, pulse amd arms.in 15 mins.my headache was gone.
I read in a book in my 8th week the amount of blood that are circulating in my viens will increase and will cause a headache plus the hormone factor.so i decided to try the cold compress technique and it is effective to me.
I've had really bad headaches as well i realized that during headache i really needed water I was dehydrated and also sometimes it happened from staring at the computer/TV even my phone so I lay down with all the lights off and that helps as well baby's r us sells pain relievers for pregnant mommies and they even have a pm one for helping you sleep at night!
I have constant migraines and one of my meds that help prevent I am sure I can't take. So last night I took Tylenol, but my liver tends to hate Tylenol so I have to be careful.
I went to my local pharmacist and was given paracetamol with codeine in it, and told it was safe. I don't use it all the time but from suffering with horrid tension headaches for 4days straight and with an 11month old I definitely needed something to help !
I've been having terrible headaches as well and today I only took one Tylenol and it helped pretty good. I've read that the headaches could be due to the higher blood volumes we have when pregnant and should subside by the second trimester.
I wish...That's what I'm trying to figure out...Tylenol doesn't help much...
I have had really bad headaches as well and Tylenol does not work for me even bf I was pregnant. Is there anything besides Tylenol I can take bc these headaches are killing me
