24week preemie and emergency c-section

My due date was June 20 and had my baby on March 6. Had cramping like pains and an increase in my discharge. They would come and go and a couple of times I felt the pain about three times within 10 minutes. I went to the hospital on a Monday was 2cm dilated and was released Wednesday. Went back Friday morning because the pains were even worse and noticed bleeding. I was now 3cm dilated and in labor. The doctor eventually gave me two doses of epidural for the pain. After that the doctor looked for my babys heartbeat and couldn't find one once she was able to find one she noticed it was really low. At that time I was rushed to have an emergency c-section. C-section was fast and I felt no pain and was fully aware of what was happening. The worst thing about having a c-section is having to get out of bed and getting back into bed. Walk as soon as possible you'll recover at lot fast and feel less pain when standing and walking. Don't refuse taking your pain pills they help a lot! My baby boy is doing well had his struggles but is fighting very hard!

Preemie babies are amazing!! My first born was born at 32 weeks weighing 2.13lbs. She spent 5 weeks in nicu. Just have patience & realize the time will go fast. They are true miracle babies. Congrats!!!

He was born weighing 1lb 11oz and is now weighing 2lb 10oz. Thank you everyone I wish the best for all of you!
