I'm sorry that happened to you.  Sometimes our bodies reject our babies.  But all I was saying is normally babies come when they r ready to come, when actually it's more of the body and baby working together.  Sometimes the body does all its supposed to an  Baby still don't wanna, an  sometimes baby tries to come before body is ready.  The only point I was trying to make is let it be as natural as possible and nature will take its course.

No it's not up to the baby! I lost my son last year at 21 weeks and he wasn't ready to come he was healthy! I delivered him because of my cervix, rupture membrane and contractions! When the labor starts it's a hormonal process, when they induce you vaginally, they rupture the membranes or use medecine to open the cervix and start the contractions!

It's not up to ur body, it's up to ur baby.  They cone when they are ready and not a second sooner, unless of course you have a scheduled c-section, then they come when the Dr cuts u open and take them out...and sometimes they wanna cone before u have a chance to get the surgery, which then will cause you to have an emergency c-section if caught in time.  Well ladies good luck.  I'm scheduled for the 12th, and can't wait!

I had a friend that was in labor for a long time and was not opening up so the dr wanted to do a c-section. Her doula suggested for her to play with her nipples and next time the dr checked her she started to progress. Good luck
