Just had my baby girl :) Birth Story
Well I've just had my baby girl in last four hrs. :) (was 38+1)
All yesterday from 5am I had what felt like trapped wind pain but by lunchtime it was getting stronger. I was scheduled an elective section for the 29th and was sure I'd last until then because I went two weeks over with my first until being induced.
But by lunch the contractions were regular. I rang the hospital as I was told last week by the anaesthetist that they did not want me giving birth naturally so I had to go in. (I have preexisting conditions which make natural delivery a bad idea and issues with certain drugs not working)
So I was brought in and monitored and low and behold I was in labour which was a serious shock for me!!
Contractions were very strong and I managed with gas and air until I was rushed to theatre and at 1:33 am (UK time) Nahlin was born weighing 7lbs 6ozs.
My little 5 yr old will meet her little sister in a few hrs and me and my husband are over the moon in love. My little family is complete :)
