I've tried the calcium and they didn't help it too much. I'm just wondering if it has anything to do with my hypertension. Last night I was hurting and cramping so bad I thought I was going into labor
I've been taking a calcium supplement in the evenings, and that seems to have greatly reduced the number of muscle cramps I get. Instead of getting them every night, I usually only get one every two weeks-ish.
I'm 30w and have had bad muscle cramping for several weeks. Much worse at night and in all muscles below the waist although my hand cramped up last week. I have to be careful how I flex my calves while in bed or I'll get a terrible Charlie horse. Sometimes I wake up and feel like many muscles are are on the verge of cramping and I'm scared because after that first Charlie horse I limped for days! Going to mention it to my doctor next week but everything in my body is going haywire right now so not too concerned.
