Nipple stimulation??

Either I'm doing it wrong or it does not work for me. How is it suppose to be done?

I heard using a breast pump works because it stimulates the entire nipple plus you don't feel as weird. My doctor told me not to do it because it can cause very painful contractions without any opening of the cervix but I am so miserable I am tempted to try it

I ready you suppose to stimulate the entire nipple. The areola and all for about 15 min then wait about 5 min then do the other. I havent had it work either. I felt very akward doing it so i did it in rhe shower and didnt have any contractions or anything
