Pain ):

I had a sweep yesterday and ever since then I've had unbearable, menstrual like cramps in addition to my contractions. My contractions are still irregular and are not painful but I get about 5 an hour. So my question is; when in labor, should I be feeling pain in my tummy in addition to my back? Or is it possible to only feel back pain and be in labor? Thanks ladies

Thanks! I definitely have to breathe through these contractions and have to stop what I'm doing when they come. Right now they are lasting about 45 seconds and coming every 5-6 minutes.

Had my sweep yesterday. Doctor told me to that when contractions became unbearable that would be time to call in. She said as long as I could walk and talk through them to stay home. We all will experience labor differently so it's hard to say where you should feel it. But when they are close together and taking your breath away, that's the real deal!

I had a membrane sweep on Monday and after the drs appt all the way till Wednesday morning i had very painful irregular contractions that never got closer than 7 mins apart. Turns out the membrane sweep put me into false labor. Didnt even dilate... I hope that isnt what happened to you ):
