Past due and at a loss

At 40 weeks and 3 days past due. I am frustrated to say the least. (They had me due June 15th, then moved it to the 21st... still past due that). I see 90% of the posts today being birth stories. Which is great...but am I one of the few that have not given birth yet on this forum? I have tried all the natural suggestions to induce labor except castor oil (I dont believe it does much to help). I already have had diarrhea the past two days, I really rather not add to it (tmi). My boss is expecting me to continue working, even past due but I'm  assuming the baby will come any time...  I am at a loss for what to do to help and not be super agitated. Ladies have any suggestions?

Ask for a membrane sweep that may work. I had my baby 1 day after the sweep.

When it's the right time you'll know... I say that, but I was induced at 41 and 1. The cool.thing was I was only on pitocin for about an hour when he started showing signs of stress so they stopped the drug. Even tho they stopped the drug my body kept having regular contractions without it! Seems like my body just needed a kick start lol.

I am not over due.. My due date is June 29th. But they tried inducing me June 22nd and it failed. So I feel the disappointment. You expect to leave the hospital with a baby in your arms.. Not still in your belly.

I'm also overdue 41+1 today. I have had two days of false labour only for it to suddenly stop. I see my midwife today for an attempt at a sweep. Try to remember ladies our due dates are estimates and that our babies are in the safest place possible at the moment. My fear is having to be induced because I wanted a natural drug free birth. Good luck everyone.

Same here. 40+4 still waiting. No sign of labor. Ive tried everything as well and nothing. Ive come to the conclusion that what ever will happen, will happen no matter what. Im trying to stay positive that he will choose to come out soon. Tomorrow i will have a membrane sweep and stretch so hopefully that will be enough to get things going. Good luck. Who knows maybe our babies will come on the same day!

I am 40 weeks and 1 day. I am ready to finally meet this baby, but they seem pretty content in there. The baby will come when they are ready or when your doctor said it's time. Unfortunately we just have to be patient. You can always try to walk the baby out
