Placenta issues

So I've been on this a while now and haven't ever come across anyone with the same issue, was just wondering if someone has. (Sorry for long post but would appreciate some input if you've been through it.)

So I'm currently 35+4 days with my 3rd baby and as the due date nears I find myself more and more terrified.
With my first labour my daughter not only got stuck at her shoulders but my placenta did not want to come away, I had to have all sorts done to have it come out resulting in me losing loads of blood.
My second baby ended up being stillborn and after he was born my placenta would not budge. They tried everything they tried with my daughter but nothing worked, resulting in me having to have it removed manually in theatre, where I lost so much blood (almost double the amount I lost with my daughter). And was so close to needed a blood transfusion (luckily my blood count raised by itself quick enough to not need one.)
Now after having two traumatic labours I'm now terrified that I'm going to bleed to death in labour and that my placenta won't come and way again. I'm going to have this baby in the same hospital that I lost my son in and it's going to be hard enough to be there but if I have to go through the same process again of theatre to remove my placenta then I'm afraid that I won't mentally cope.

So really my question is has anyone had problems with the removal of their placenta and then gone on to have a normal labour where it cones away by itself (like it's supposed to)??

Thank you for your response, sorry to hear that you had such a traumatic time last time round. I saw a specialist today and they are concerned about my blood loss and placenta, they have decided to actively manage the 3rd stage (delivery of placenta), give me drugs to help speed things up and reduce bleeding, but I was given those drugs with my first to do the same thing and it still didn't help. So hasn't eased my mind at all, just glad that I will be in hospital when it all happened so if an emergency does happen it's the best place to be. Fingers crossed.
