Please help!! FTM

Ladies I have a question. I lost my muscus plug this morning. Well its been coming out all day today with a little bit of blood and last Monday I was dilated to 3 centimeters and right now I have contractions. But how do I know if its the real thing? They hurt but I don't want to go to the hospital to get turned down but I don't wanna wait too much either.

I would start timing your contractions to where they become real close together... umm call ur ob and ask what they consider on that. I have lost my mucus plug 4 weeks ago and I have had contractions sick 32 weeks and I am 37 weeks and nothing happend yet.. mine keep coming then going so they said to count mine as well. Good luck almost there!

Thank you ladies. I called them and suggested I come in just to be safe and contractions were regularly. I went in at 12:30am but as soon as I got to the hospital the contraction completely stopped and I'm only dilated to a 4 so they sent me home. And I woke up this morning with contractions again. It bugs me! I don't wanna keep going to the hospital to get sent home! :/

Call Ur dr. Also time contractions. You can download contraction counter apps, to make it easier.

I second calling the hospital, or your doctor. They will ask you a bunch of questions about what you're feeling and will be able to determine if you should come in

Time them, the best way to know if they are real is to time them. I also suggest drinking some water and relaxing to see if they are real, often it's just dehydration and/or too much activity.
