I've been told I have a UTI and was given Macrobid/Nitrofurantoin. I have taken 3 tablets but out of curiosity I looked them up on the internet and it said some women have lost their babies days after taking the tablets.
Has anyone taken these and had a healthy pregnancy?!

I took macrobid in my first trimester I was about 9 weeks. I am now 27+4. My little girl is doing great and moving lots.

It is safe. I was on it in my first trimester.

I took my course of macrobid 3 weeks ago and all is well . Im wondering if those cases u saw  were in the first trimester. Im sure our Ob doctors wouldn't give us unsafe meds  knowing we are pregnant. UTI is common and if untreated can cause kidney infections and that's something we dont want
