I have had diarrhea all day and cramping and back pains. From what I've heard from friends and family it is early labor. Diarrhea is a way of cleaning out your body and making space for baby. Don't be afraid to go back to the doctor. You know your body and your normal. Furthermore complain about the nurses. Unacceptable.

That's terrible for Ur drs office staff. Women can be dilated for wks before actual labor begins. Now for Ur belly tightening. Really that's probably just BH. I've had them most of my pregnancy. Now I'm 38+wks (w baby3) & I get BH all the time, even through the night. My BH are very painful but I have no other signs of labor/dilating anything. Real contractions are extremely painful-knock the wind out of U pain. Also they are consistent & can be timed. U can download a contraction counter app.. Once Ur having them every 5 min and they contraction lasts 1min each time (every 5 mins) then it's real labor. & head to the hospital. You being sick could be Ur body preparing for labor.. Or it could just be nerves making U sick. Happened to me w baby1 & baby2, just being nervous & anxious... I made myself sick. Good luck. Try to get Ur mind off when the big day will happen, go for a walk, watch a good movie, read a book.

I've also been having the tightening for about a little over a week now. And I went to the dr and I'm dilated to a 1. But from my experience with my first if there isn't any actual pain with the contractions it's Braxton hicks. When I started actually having labor pains it would radiate from the inside of my "whowho" all the way up through my back repetitively.

I'm so sorry to hear that! You would think they would be sympathetic because they deal with pregnant ladies all the time! Praying for you!

Last time I went in was Friday and I got checked I was at a 2 but I had an appointment wednesday and my doctor was on call so I was in the waiting room for an hour and I was sick throwing up and diarrhea . The nurses were so mean and I never got to see my doctor because I live in a small town only3 ob doctors and mine was the only one in and she had a lot of  deliverys ... I left crying because they were so rude . I was there for 2 hours and I couldn't take it. They were telling me I wasn't sick and I just wanted to get checked. Now I'm scared to go in.. I don't like being treated like I'm stupid...

I would go get checked by your doctor. Sounds like early labor signs to me

I've been in the same boat for a couple days now. Doctor said I was 2-3cm dilated tues. I don't think I've had any real contractions just Braxton hicks... But lots of cramps and some back pain yesterday.

Sounds like braxton hicks contractions. Don't worry about it until they become regular and painful
