So sick of BV!!!!!!! Ugh!

I'm getting so frustrated with all these damn infections. I can't take it! is it to much to have sex with my bf without getting bv almost every single time we do it. We haven't been intimate in 5 weeks n last night we said screw it, its happening. Now I feel nasty down there. After we have sex..everytime I pee rite after and take a shower. I don't change my soap and I don't wash any differently so I don't understand. I hate this crap. I was just at my doctors 2 days ago because I was itchy and apparently it was nothing and now I feel like I have something. What ***** even more is when I get bv I never have signs of it.

Yes, men can be carriers of BV. They rarely have any type of symptoms but if he has it U will continue to get bv even after Ur pregnancy. He should get checked. Or talk to your dr about if they can prescribe him an antibiotic when U take Urs.

I remember when I had this my ob was very clear not to have sex for 2 weeks 1 while I was on the meds then 2 so I don't give it to my husband and I did that and I never had it again. My ob said if I did I had the chance of giving it to my hubby so I would have him checked to make sure you guys essentially are not sharing it and the one min you get rid of it he has it then when you guys do have sex he gives it back to you. Also as above mentioned after meds eat some yogurt with good bacteria in it it'll help as well.. in regards to your hubby go to your local doctor and get him an app to see what is going on and explain the situation ..  good luck and I hope things get better

:-: that's awful. As above I'd drink cranberry juice (get one with low sugar, what's best is pure cranberry juice. It tastes horrible but is the best for lady issues) & lots of water. Also eat some good Greek yogurt (okios, Fage, a brand like that) in plain or vanilla. Wear cotton undies, the cotton undies help prevent extra moisture down below. Also if Ur still in thongs, wear full butt panties or I prefer boy short style undies.

either get him an appointment or just call your doctor and tell her you need  flagyl Pills and make him take it

I'm in the same boat I just opted not to have sex to avoid the whole BV problem. plus the pills Causes yeast infections afterwards so it's a never winning battle

You may need to see about getting your partner treated. He may have the bacteria now and of course it doesn't cause men any effects...but when you two have intercourse, he could be giving it back to you.

That's awful. I'd say try drinking pure cranberry juice and drink water like its going out of style, but at this point you're probably not willing to risk it anymore! I certainly would want to because I despise UTIs but it must be miserable not being able to be close with your husband. We're almost done! :-)
