Stocking up for baby

How many of you have started buying things for your baby and stocking up on nappies and so on?

We started at 12 weeks and I have a small stockpile of nappies already. 990 nappies to be precise.

All we need is car seats, a breast pump, and a crib. We have mostly everything saved from when our almost-4-year-old son was a baby including all of his cloth diapers, and I'll be exclusively breastfeeding so basically no expenses until quite a while after baby is born. If we have a girl (we aren't finding out ahead of time) I'll have to buy some clothes but for the most part big brother's hand me downs will be just fine. Babies don't care what color they wear. All the money that would otherwise have gone to diapers and formula is going into a savings account for emergencies (or the kids' college fund if it lasts that long). Can't wait to see how fast it adds up!

I have purchased a few neutral pajama sets and neutral blankets. We have a very nice crib that we used  with our daughter that we are going to refurbish and paint. My daughter left bite marks all over it lol :-/ We just ordered a changing table/dresser and an Armoire for the nursery. Most of the big items will be gifted to us from family so we just have to worry about the details and necessities now. Can't wait to find out the gender so we can do more shopping!!!

he started buying some gender neutral close we're going to buy more once we find out what the baby is we put away $20 per paycheck into a savings account to put away for diapers because you don't know what ones I'll be allergic too

I not buy anything till after my baby shower . I dont buy something and someone else get for me . When i found it was a girl i bought a dress and thats it .

I only have bought the staples. A crib, changing table, bassinet etc. Things that are gender nutural and every baby needs. We are waiting til my baby shower and gender reveal for a lot of it.

I haven't bought anything yet but my cousin had a baby recently and she came by and gave me car seat and a swing and other lil toys and stuff but I know my gender now (just found out today) so I should be in the stores tomorrow

Ive bought a cot, mattress, change table and a few sets of white outfits, trying not to buy more until i find out the gender :) i will start buying nappies, wipes ect when im about 30 weeks!!

We're going to stock up on clothes and the stuff we're able to, but not diapers or soaps & lotions because we won't know which brand works best for baby until baby is here.
