Stomach Bug?

I'm 36+5 as of today and ever since last night, I've been nauseous, having the runs(tmi-black colored bowels) and braxton hicks/crampiness. Could this be a stomach bug or is this normal at this stage in pregnancy? This never happened with any of my other three pregnancies.

Doc said it could have been a stomach bug but could also be my body getting ready for labor.

Black colored stool is can also be a sign of blood in your stool. But if your doctor isn't concerned then that it is probably not the reason. What did your doctor think it was? It sounds like you're getting ready for labor :-)

Black color bowels is a sign of dehydration most of the time.

It's quite common for your body to "clean itself out" so to speak before labor. If the runs last any longer than 24 hours and you begin to feel unwell go to the doc
