Tattoo After Childbirth

Before anyone just glances the subject and freaks out, I am not getting a tattoo while I'm pregnant. But I have been planning on getting my next tattoo for a long time and am getting sick of waiting haha. I plan on breastfeeding, and I've read that it's safe to get a tattoo while you are. I plan on waiting about 6 months or so. Anyone here gotten a tattoo after having a baby? If so, how long after did you wait?

Thanks! I already have three, and have been in contact with my artist on this one for almost a year. I am so excited! All of mine have been on my back so far,  and this one will be on my bicep.

Just don't do it somewhere where you are all stretched out (which, unfortunately, could be most of your body, depending on how you gain. Because then shrinkage would be a problem. I'd wait until you're done losing baby weight just to be safe in that regard.

I got a lot of tattoos
And planing on getting a huge one after a couple of months after she gets here
I got my last tattoo without knowing that i m pregnant
Found out a week later
Everything is fine thanks god
My advice
Take your time to find an artist and that twll him what you wanna do and where
And ask him when is he gonna feel comfortable to do a tattoo on you since you are breastfeeding
And start from there

I never have but i plan to get one as well. And probably around the same time frame just to be safe. They mostly dont want you doing that kind of stuff due to the chances of infection .
