Tylenol 3

My doctor just prescribed me Tylenol 3 for my back pain.....my question is what has your doctor prescribed yall for back pain and do you feel safe to take during the 3rd trimester? I am 27 weeks.

Hummm tylenol 3.…  I wont take it. I have two herniated disc and fybromyalgia and i wont take no med but tylenol extra strengh.

I think it can be split in at least half of it....it has the crease down the middle but never thought about it being time released. Thanks for the heads up!

Before you take 1/4 of the pill make sure its okay for it to be split, some meds are time released and aren't supposed to be split. Hope you feel better!

Yes I had a massage last Wednesday and it didn't really help but maybe a day.  :( yes basically 10 weeks! We will be considered full term!

I go to the chiropractor as well.  Thinking of trying a massage. I wo t take pain meds unless absolutely necessary.  By the end of the day i am limping like crazy!    Almost there ladies!

I'm sorry momma! That has to be terrible. I would love to think that doctor wouldn't prescribe ya anything that they know would be harmful.

I have been living on the heating pad for over 2 weeks now and the pain is just getting worse.  :( I'm not too happy he gave me Tylenol 3 but it only has 30 mg of codeine in it which I plan only taking about a 4th of it to see how well it does.....I don't take pain medicine when I'm not pregnant let alone being pregnant but I can't take this pain anymore! I can't even stand long enough to wash dishes let alone do any other kind of housework.   (

Also so use a heating pad then alternate with an ice pack and so on..it helps trust me!!

My doc recommended a chiropractor but that is because I didn't feel comfortable taking anything while pregnant.
