am I the only one?

I'm finding out the gender of my little love today and I've been driving myself crazy since yesterday. My biggest fear is showing up to an apt and baby not having a heart beat, yet I've shown no signs of a miscarriage. I'm wondering with this much anxiety & nerves if its literally a medical problem or just normal to feel this way. I feel like its unatural to feel & fear this exteme about it. I've had one miscarriage before about 6years ago when I was 18 I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was losing the pregnancy. I was devestated but didn't think it affected me to this much.  Am I having natural pregnancy fears or just feeling this way due to past experiences? Anyone else feeling this way?

Thank you everyone I definitely feel like I can relax a little now! Were just about 18 weeks & hadn't seen baby since 11 weeks so I felt like there was such a gap and anything could have happened. I was so relieved to see him being so active & having such a strong heartbeat. And its A BOY. Lol so happy to be joining team blue and can't wait to hold my baby boy ♡

Same here with the blood pressure. The doctors are even think I have high blood pressure. I assured them that the appoinments makes me extremely nervous so were going to monitor it. I get hot and my hands get clamy as well. Not fun at all. Hoping a doppler will help as well!

I get anxious before ultrasounds too! I am almost 20 weeks and have an ultrasound on wednesday.  Thankfully i have been feeling baby move for a few weeks so that helps.  Once you feel baby move, every time they move you will be releived!

Thank you everyone! My mom always tells me that I'm basically driving myself crazy & I need to try and not stress as much, but to me I can't find a way to distract myself. And even if I keep as calm as possible as soon as I'm in the waiting room it kicks in on overdrive. My bf tries to understand but he doesn't get it he just always tells me to stay positive & there's nothing to worry about. I'm definitely purchasing the doppler asap, I feel it will eleviate so much of my worrying & help keep me at peace. Im 17w5d and i cant really tell im preggo & baby doesnt move yet that im aware of. Thanks again ladies its nice knowing I'm not alone!

I'm always nervous until my next doctors appointment and then I feel okay for a little while my husband thinks I'm crazy and that I worry too much. It is so scary having a little life growing inside and having no clue what's going on in there for weeks. Good luck today!!

I'm finding out my baby's gender on Wednesday and have the same fear. I'm so afraid they're gonna tell me the baby stopped growing, or there's something wrong. I had a miscarriage last August and have been super anxious this pregnancy. I think it's natural to be nervous especially if you've had a miscarriage already.

I feel that way alot. I go in next week to check on the little one and see the sex. I just want to hear the thump and see that my baby is growing on tract. Also, nervous to find out the results to the blood work. Although I'm sure everything is fine. You can't help but worry. Just be positive and all is well I'm sure. Good luck!

I have had a previous miscarriage and until I purchased my Doppler at home, every time I went to the doctor I was afraid I had miscarried. But now that I have that my fears have pretty much all went away
