So I was wondering how far along you usually are when you have a baby shower? Ive heard around 6 months and then ive heard 8 months? What do yall think?

Im due june 16th. But having mind early on the 22nd of march as my best friend  gets married  in april n her honey moon is in may.
I wanted her to be around so im having it early. Its when ever syits u really.

I've heard 28-36 weeks as ideal - that gives the hostess time to plan after you've revealed gender, if you've chosen to do so, and also gives you some buffer room before your due date in case baby decides to come early.

I had mine in may and baby in aug. Having it a little earlier allows you time to buy things you might not get. But ultimately i think it is up to you when you want to have it :)

I have been to showers from 6 months to pretty much full term. I am hoping for April or early May so I have plenty of time to get everything home, washed, put away etc

With my first he was due in January so had the shower in November, was a little early but got me very excited looking through all the little things during the last few weeks!

It's whenever you want it to be. There's no set month. I'm having mine at 6 months since I'm going back home to be with family and friends.

I did not plan mines, My sister gave me a surprise baby shower and I had my son two days later, I was full term at 39 weeks and 4 days
