Any opinion helps!

So I am technically 30 weeks due June 1 but at my last sonogram my baby measured 33 weeks. I won't see my doctor to confirm if I am in fact further along until next week and I am starting to panic. I literally have nothing ready. Everyone is saying I shouldn't get anything until after the baby shower which is in 3 weeks. By which point I'll be either 32 weeks or 35 weeks. I don't know if I should put my foot down and get the room ready or just wait it out. It's seriously stressful and driving me nuts. I'm having a really BIG baby shower because it's family friendly and we are expecting 120+ people who already RSVP that they are going. So I know we will be gifted a lot and I'm so grateful but I just want his room ready. He could come at any moment. So should I wait or do what I want? Or am I just being crazy because I feel like I'm ignored and no one understands my panic...

My real concern is the nursery set. I don't have a crib for him yet. I go through periods of anxiety over it. I figure after the shower things will come together but there truly is no way of knowing when he will get here. I asked a few friends and most of them had the nursery set up real early. I just feel really behind and to make matters worse I've gotten into the "nesting" phase.

Think about the basics the baby needs for the first few days and if you have got the basics covered you'll b fine, I'm sure the ppl attending your baby shower won't leave you with nothing if baby comes early

Don't stress! Easier said than done I know but it's not good for baby and even if the date does move you have 5 weeks still before you are full term. Everything will be fine. I wouldn't worry, if you want to start getting the room set up do that, use what you have for now. My son will be in our room for the first 6 months so we will be moving the room around, but not worried about it just yet as we already know how we will do it. We have some things for him from our first but not a lot because our first is a girl and our second is a boy. Do little things for the room if it comforts you but no need to stress.

Yes exactly baby measured 18.4 inches and 3.8 lbs but I was only 28 weeks when I got the sonogram. So now I'm like impatiently waiting. I feel like if I just get the nursery set up I'll have peace of mind. Everything else I understand why I should wait but I feel so anxious already. It's driving me nuts lol

I'm having the exact same issues! 30 weeks yesterday Due 1st June with a little boy and also measuring 33 weeks, I'm actually really struggling as not due to finish work until 37 weeks, I'm am gutted though as they didn't  move my dates, baby weighs almost 4lbs already too. I would wait until your next appointment to see whether they move the dates or not before you go crazy and sort things as they may do what they did with me and leave the dates the same. X
