back labour/contractions

For anyone who has previously experienced back labour Does it intensity like a contraction? Having some middle back pain that contracts much like a contraction with a peak period.  No abdominal contractions but belly is really tight.  With my first i just had menstrual like cramps which intensified into contractions in time. Just about 38 weeks and first was born at 37 so i am wondering if the time is near.   Thanks in advance

The back pain could just be the start of labor. With my 1st I had severe back labor as he was transverse in the birth canal (his face was up instead of the correct position). It was terribly painful-I labored 17 hrs (back labor) naturally with him it was awful. Good luck... Many blessings.

Hoping so. They are about 15 minutes apart and pretty strong.

Thanks!  We will see how the night goes.   Just wish there was a tell tale sign that you were in early labour.
