bigger when having a boy?

Is it really true that women having boys get a bigger tummy and gain more? I want a boy so badly and i already have two girls but i am so small (my belly is) that im convinced its a girl.
Im 19 weeks...

I'm not sure on much of this I am a ftm but I know it has taken till the 2nd tri to gain weight in fact I lost 5 pounds in the 1st tri... but my belly poped at 13 weeks and I carry really low and out kind of all out in the front nothing in the hips or butt.. so not sure if this helps but I hope you get your boy!!#

I'm having a boy... 18wks as of yesterday. I have gained less but look more pregnant than my friend who is due in May with a girl. I'm carrying lower but haven't had a huge appetite our anything yet. I was nauseous during the first trimester but that's gone now.

I carried my first and second the exact same. Same weight gain, and everything. One was a boy, one was a girl. This is an old wives tale.

This is not true. Depends on how big you and your significant other were in my opinion.  If you were small babies you'll have small babies..or in me and my husband case we were both big babies and my first daughter was huge so I carried huge!

I dont think its true. It just depends on the person I was bigger with my daughter and gained more weight with her too. I was smaller with my second my son. This one I am pretty big already at 18w

My first was a boy and I was not noticeably pregnant until 7 months and even then my bump was never massive. I didn't put any weight on anywhere else either
