I sleep sitting up. *****, but it's what works for me. Only 12 weeks to go.
I was having similar issues was in terrible pain turned out to be my gallbladder id get everything checked out just in case
I bought this huge U shaped pregnancy pillow on Amazon. It's helped a lot. One side of the U goes between your legs. You can also flip it upside down and that helps your position if you want to sleep on your back.
Call your dr, let them know. I don't sleep either. I'm in the same boat severe hip pain on left side. What has really helped me is prenatal yoga. Or just stretching. I just have a DVD, I don't have time to get to a class (I have to keep up with my two other very busy/active children-7 yrs and 17 months). The yoga does wonders. My DVD is only 20 mins long. If I don't do the whole yoga DVD a great stretch is the warrior pose (easily found online), modify it to were your comfortable, and next to a wall or chair for support, balance is off when prego. I've done several massages they don't help, when your prego they don't use a lot of pressure. I'm going to try acupuncture too. Every time I've been prego I get severe hip pain (my 1st I had sciatica pain/spasms.) also try walking even a short walk will help keep the pain away.
