checked in labor n delivery 38wks 3days
So I thought my water broke or was leaking Since i felt fluid just coming out it stop I put a pad on walk n felt it again. Went to labor n delivery got checked n monitor they said my water didnt broke or not ruptured and it could because im loosing my plug n it sometimes come out like liquid first...ummm...my first time...so I said okay. However I'm contracting 3-4minutes apart consistently. So im here for 2 hrs and they will check again if I progress from 1cm. I still keep ffeeling little liquid keep comin g out at times and tighter lower stomach.

My advise is watch out for impatient doctors that try rushing you to get c section when they know you don't really need it. ...just cause they get pay more for surgery. Im happy I had great nurses that jusrmt didn't agree with her
I went in with the intention to go natural so I took pain relief but it wore off in 30mins instead of 2hrs and was feeling every contraction...I got like 3 dose until I got at 5cm....honestly they didnt help....my opinion....I ended up getting an epidural like at 7cm because they took long waiting on the one anesthesiologist on shift...it wasn't bad however it wore off before I got pushing since it took me hours to get from 7 to 10cm and I ended up pushing with only one of my leg feeling numb they had to hold that one up. I pushed for 1hr 30mins appearantly I have a pelvic bone that was blocking baby head from coming out...The doc was so impatient she had my sign papers for c section but the nurses we're so helpful they talk me through pushing and he came out...didnt need a c sec.
Update: within that 2hrs monitor my water did ruptured. ..now I'm all hooked up waiting for baby to come...contractions getting stronger...
Good luck hope you progress. I went thru that last night and it turns out from Friday to Sunday I went from 4 cm dilated back to a 1cm so they sent me home to rest.. good luck :)
