congestion

Okay I am seriously about to go crazy. I had trouble breathing before but this is driving me insane. All day I have to blow my nose in order to breathe. And when I do blow my nose there is bloody snot or my nose starts bleeding. Idk if it's where the weather is changing. But at night I was using saline spray to try and clear out my nose but I recently said screw it because it wasn't working so I started using nasal spray. The doctor said to try not to use that but I have no choice, I'm miserable.

Glad I'm not the only one suffering with this lol, although I've just been diagnosed with hyperemisis gravidarum which is not fun (14 weeks)! Was hoping to be past the sickness but seems this baby has other ideas! In between not being able to breathe and hugging a toilet I can't wait to each the 'blooming' stage lol. Thankfully I have an unusually understanding toddler who is quite happy to lay and have a cuddle with mummy for a couple of hours so I can rest, he even kisses my cheek when I'm snoozing! Kids are such a blessing!

Normal for a pregnant woman to have epistaxis or blood coming from npse when sneezing...i read its becoz of the increased blood volume.
A funny thing happened to me though, speaking of congestion...i fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night gasping for air, and my throat was sooooo dry i cant hardly swallow. Good thing i always have water at the bedside. :)

I've been stuffed up for the last week and my humidifier has been my saving grace. I put it right next to me when i sleep at night and essentially hand my head into the mist. I wake up every morning realizing im breathing through my nose. Then it's back to being stuffed.

Like I said mine have always been bad but my gosh! It's annoying. Have you talked to your OB to see if they can give you something for it? I'm going to bring it up to mine when I go monday! Hopefully they are able to help you and me! Lol

I'm allergic to life (k, not that bad- but the list is impressive lol) so my sinuses are always bad. Then right around 12 weeks they got so. much. worse. I didn't know they could be this bad. It's constantly draining down my throat and triggering my gag reflex. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow, no longer nauseous, but still vomiting thanks to my nasal drip.
