Is it normal to get cramps that feel like menstrual? This seemed to happen of and on today.

Oh wow! I see my doctor this in a week.  If it happens a lot before then I will definitely call sooner. Thanks!

Im 31 weeks and i had menstrual like cramping over the weekend i ended up in L&D because they were actually contractions! I had to get a shot to stop them..now my doctor said if i get the feeling 4 or more times in an hour to try to get a same day doctor appointment or go to L&D again to make sure im still not dilated because im already 60% effaced! But everyone is different, not trying to make you worry but they could be contractions

Thank you! It comes on like a strong cramp and I get dizzy or nauseous and then I'm fine like 2 minutes later.

And it happened a few times before but happened off and on all day today... I guess if it continues I'll call the doc tomorrow.

I was just at the dr today and asked that same question. She said yes its normal and sounds like just braxton hicks as long as it doesnt happen for long stretches of time or happen back to back to back where you can time the time between them. Hope that helps!
