... calling baby from outside may help too.
@Nikki Marie, the baby moves inside your womb. You need to be patient, find your placenta first, then move around it. Has your OB been able to get a heartbeat on doppler? Sometimes if your placenta is anterior, it will be difficult to hear. I have anterior placenta and my OB (multiple different OBs on different visits) never get a heartbeat on doppler, but I never have any problem at home. What I did that is different is - I talk to my baby before I use it and explain to her it's just gonna be a quick check while nudging my belly before I probe. Baby in 2nd trimester can hear and respond to mommy voices. Have a sibling or DH call
I have one and cant find heartbeat. What am I doing wrong???? Im 17 weeks :(
Got mine off eBay for $45. It's a sonoline b and works really well.
Where do they sell them???? It will ease my mind on some days...and around how much are they?
I use mine at least twice a day maybe more I will be 15 weeks Friday
Is 14 weeks too early to get one?. .. I went to Walmart today to look for one and they didn't have it. I really want to get one!
I'm dying to get one! It would eliviate so much of my constant thoughts and worries. I believe they say about once a week is when you should use it but I don't think it'll be harmful to listen for a minute and help calm you.
I have one. We try to only use it once a week but there are stressful days in between I occasionally use it to put my mind to ease.
