If u are doing a normal ultrasound at any time of your pregnancy or any ultrasound that u do other than vaginal they always recommend that you drink 1 litre of water 1hr before your ultrasound. to make sure you have a full bladed.
Even if you call the place where you are doing the ultrasound they can advise you on what you need to do.
Good luck

How far are you? Typically if you are 10 weeks or less you will have to get a vaginal one so then you won't need a full bladder but you will have to give your first ob urine sample. If you are after that time you will need a full bladder. But you might want to have a full bladder anyway because different places do things differently.
