glucose test
So I had my glucose test and it came back my high so now I gotta prick my self ever day :(
It tests your blood sugar levels. So you'll drink a special sugary drink and wait an hour then they will take your blood. If you have gestational diabetes you'll have to monitor your blood sugar levels for the rest of your pregnancy :)
Mine is on the twelfth and I am a bit nervous. He has been healthy so far but im not sure what to really expect with the test. They didnt give me too much feeback on this one. Just said its routine and not to eat after midnight. Any insight as to what the test is actually for? Sorry if that sounds bad that I dont know but first timer here and not lot or people for me and the hubby to ask.
