glucose

I take my glucose test the 8th of April. My Dr today didn't say anything about till I asked her about it. All she said was I'll take it my next appt.
Am I suppose to eat that day or No? Drink that day or No?

I think the best thing to do is call your ob and ask them what they prefer cause I have seen it both ways some dont care if you eat or drink and some do not want you to eat or drink.i have mine today and they told me to eat a well balanced dinner and breakfast n lunch and don't go overboard on a ton sugary drinks before my test .. I asked 2x good luck

you can eat as long as it is an hour before the test.I had breakfast before mine because I didnt know I was going to get tested at my obgyn appointment. My result came back super normal, 95.

I was allowed to eat whatever, just nothing extremely sugary. But nothing after I drank the drink. I passed out at the doctors office due to not eating before I drank it.

I'm taking my glucose test on Monday and from what my Dr told me, he said I can't eat anything that's sugary but never said about drinking, I think you're allowed to drink water. I'm not sure, I'll let you know after I go to my app.
