Baby Ivie Marolyn made her debut on Saturday! It waa so great!
I started timing contractions at 3 pm and they were already 5 minutes apart. By 6pm, they were 3 minutes apart lasting 1 minute. So my dad picked up my daughter and my husband and I headed to the hospital. We were admitted around 730pm I was 100% effaced and 6cm dilated. Around 9, I felt like I had to push but I was only at 9cm but they set up everything and just told me to listen to my body and push if I had to. I gave birth to our beautiful baby 45 minutes later. But she came out "sunny side up " (I had never heard that term before lol) so they said that could be why I felt the need to push before I was completely dilated. Overall, the whole experience was amazing! So happy with everything. And her big sister loves her so much.
