had the scare of my life!

The damn nurse had told me its fine to breast feed my son while taking norco,motrin and stool sofner. Well she lied! My son became unresponsive and slept for 5 hours straight and wouldnt take a bottle or open his eyes. His breathing then began to change. I new this wasnt rite. I know my little liam enough to know that he wasnt ok. I tryed everything to wake him up. The vaccum,tickling his feet and back,stripping him down and changing his butt. He hates it when hes naked and his feet being tickeled and it never fails when i tickle his back because he'll arch it. I broke down when we got to the emergency room at a different hospital. I couldnt take seeing him unresponsive. It was like he was in a coma. Turns out the little stinker was exhausted from the meds. I had past to him threw my boob milk. He woke up went they were checking him out. Im not sorry that i brought him in cuz he really wasnt acting normal. The nurses at this hospital said that nurse from the other hospital needs to go back to collage because i shouldnt have been ok'd to breast feed while on all 3 meds at once and on a high dosage.

So glad he is well. Don't ever be sorry for taking ur child to the doctor/ ER when u know something is not right. That's why there's an ER, for an emergency.
