i get the same thing every so often... i have it right now actually. i just lay down with my legs elevated and try to breath as controlled and calm as possible. i close my eyes for a bit and just concentrate on rythmic breathing. plus drink lots of water! you might just be a bit dehydrated.

I had them for about  month starting around 14 weeks. They were random and would come and go. I also think that it was caused by extra stress around that time. It was christmas and a friend had just passed away. After my stress went down they went away. Havent had one in a while. Now its just anxiety.

hi Lisa. I also felt like this and I really sympathise with you. The stress and extra blood volume can cause an irregular heartbeat. Hence the palpitations.
I only noticed mine when I was relaxing.

The reason I had them and felt so unwell was due to anaemia and dehydration. It was treated quickly with iron tablets and upped my fluid intake.

Try and see a doctor. I feel like a different person now that I'm on the iron tablets.
