3 weeks to decide natural birth or planned c-section,hear is my dilema

Im currently comin up on 33 weeks pgnt with a little boy my 2nd baby.i have an ingunal hernia on left hand side of my groin aswell as a bad varicosity(both very sore)i have to wear a special belt to walk around.anyway my first birth was quite traumatic i was 26 hours in labour had an epidural with forcept delivery half and hour later i had a pph with blood loss of 3000ml.3blood transfusions and put to sleep to remove placenta so as u can all imagine i was pretty ill,i went to the surgeon 5 weeks ago.about my hernia and he advised a plannef section incase i pushed hernia down while pushin but however the letter he sent to consultant does say this but also says i can go natuarly???my consultant says shes not sure if natural will do damage it might not but they want to offer me a section due to the previous birth!!! So do i take the risk and go natural or do i take the section and be in pain for 6 weeks im gettin mixed advice from family and friends what do.u ladies think? X

I understand wanting to have a nautural birth & not a C. I had hard labor naturally for 17 hrs, both baby & my vitals dropped-so I had a Csection. It bothered me for a long time but more bcuz so many women criticized for having 1-but I survived & so did baby. In Ur situation I would opt for the C recovery isn't so bad just get up & walk ASAP. Look on Pinterest there are good reads about a gentle csection. My husbands cousin died in childbirth due to extreme loss of blood amongst other things. Her baby is now 3yrs old. It's very hard on the whole family. Not that, that would happen to U. Childbirth is a beautiful thing but at times it can end with a terrifying outcome. I feel it doesn't matter how U give birth to Ur baby either natural or a C, as long as both baby & mom are healthy afterwards.

The consultants and ob team.say the baby should be ok to be deliverd either way i personaly think.its better for him to come natuaraly im really really scared at thot of c-section the blood loss and hernia are a big issue but as the midwife said iv faced it before i know what im up.against,im on.a red pathway alert so hopefully they be on.the ball iv got head midwife nxt tue to have a talk with her and wel go thro everything yea i know about blood loss possibilty.thro c-section aswell as long as my little man is ok and safe thats the main thing x

I would think about whats the best option for him. If you go natural what are the risks for your baby? If you do the c section whats the risk to your baby? Sunce you had issues before chances are you might have some type of issue no matter which way you go so choose the option that puts less stress kn your baby

I'm not a fan of c-section  but honestly  ifact I were you I would go for It. not only did you have a complicated birth last time but you have a hernia I'm in the medical field and I can tell you that hernias at times come with many serious complications you have  to  be  very careful with it.

I can only imagine what you must be going through. For this I would put a pro/ con birth list together. Whichever way you choose, it sounds like pain is inevitable. I don't mean to sound harsh and if it does I'm sorry. I believe this is something that requires your thoughts. Its always good to get others opinions but you will do what's right for you and your baby. Praying for you and your baby.

Im really not a fan of csections if they can be avoided and i think natural birth is better for baby however i think if i was in your shoes after such a traumatic birth first time round and knowing there can be risks this time round i honestly think i would go for the csection, thats my honest opinion...good luck whatever you decide x

I know you don't want a csection due to the down time but it sounds like it might be best esp with how hard your first was and the hernia that you have that's just my opinion. Good luck and keep us updated what you choose
