scared :/

I have my 12 week scan friday morning I've heard so many stories about the baby stopped growing and I've scared myself.
I've had 3 misscarriges before that's probably why I'm so worried. I had a 8 weeks scan and all was fine. Anyone got any advice or know the signs for this happening. Trying to stay positive x

I totally understand your worries. I too had a mmc but somehow conceived in the same month. I will be 12 wks tmoro and have my scan on tuesday. We went for a dating scan two wks ago and found i was 10 wks! There was a heartbeat this time and although they say mc is reduced at this time, i still worry. My consolation is that im not experiencing pain or bleeding and im still having symptoms (last time symptoms disappeared around 10 wks and i experienced one very noticeable and unforgettable sharp pain and knew something wasnt right). I hope all will be well with all of us and lets try and stay positive..Let the lives of our babies be in Gods hands and may us accept the gift when presented with it.

I to previously had a mc im now 10w6d i have my scan at 13w2d i seen my baby 8w2d .. although missed misscarriage can happen they are not as common as actual misscarriage so ive read and heared many times if youve heared a heartbeat at 8 weeks your chances are extremly high of continuing your pregnancy .. .. yes there is still a small percentage you could have a missed mc .. ive been scared to but ive learnt we really cant think like this .. you see so many negatives online please try not to worry and enjoy being pregnant now !and stay positive just because youve lost before doesnt mean it will happen again every pregnancy is different

Advice? I have none unfortunately but know that you are not alone. Its VERY common to miscarry unfortunately and most women have been through it a time or two. The good news is miscarriages rarely mean you won't be able to have children.  My best advice is try not to get attached to the idea of pregnancy until after 12 weeks.  This helps.
