little rant

I am very surprised at how many women want to induce labor early when they have 3-5 weeks left. I am a ftm almost 38weeks & in SOOO much pain, but I've come to realization, my baby boy will come no matter what i do. I walk every day at least more than 5 miles, have sex, stay active, and he is just not ready!
I just feel like all mom's should just wait a little longer, your baby is almost here!!!<33 :)

I was very impatient but now I'm just going to wait it out & make sure everything is ready for him to pass time:)  i understand being induced because dr. Says so but the women who just want their babies out right away make me sad!!

Ya I dont lile inductions either unless totally necessary.
According to my mom I was three weeks past my due date and I was her fourth child. I was still only 7lbs 2 oz. And perfectly healthy. I just truly believe that baby comes when ready I am living evidence of that.
Yes I am so stinking miserable but I know he will be here soon and I know I will feel much better. I am just being patient for my turn. I do a lot of walking for the reason of exercise and relaxation.

thanks for chiming in .... ladies give your babies the chance to finish developing! our bodies are made for this. be patient. you're about to become a mother, it's time to put your children's wellbeing above your own personal comfort.

I agree. I'm surprised myself. You want the baby developing inside for as long as possible. Now that being said-I have issues & will be having a Csection but not a day before 39wks. Unless he comes early my last two babies arrived 2+wks early. So I'm nervous if I'll make it to the scheduled C. I was induced w baby 1, my water had broke & I wasn't dilated so they wanted me on pitocin to get labor going. What people don't realize how painful induction is. It's very very hard & painful. Even if your wanting an epidural that doesn't always come when U want/need it. My girlfriend was induced @ 42wks & didn't get an epi for 8 hrs bcuz the hospital was too busy to get to her. & being induced doesn't make the baby arrive any faster once it's started.-another gf was induced & on pitocin for 37hrs she never dilated past 4 & ended up w a C.

Thank you! Those posts were irritating. I stopped checking the app because so many people were complaining and trying to get their babies out early. Let your baby grow! We're in the home stretch. Babies health should come before our comfort. But that's just my opinion.

My little girls due date is the 4th but I am being induced on the 2nd (only 2 days before 40w)  because I have to travel 3hrs for my doc. visits my doc. recommended it. Plus I have torn the muscles around my pelvis and left thigh and can't walk without help :(  Thats the only reason I am being induced.

It is an extremely hard wait...and the last weeks drag so bad. Its hard to not want your baby to come early. But i have come to realize that trying to force your baby out before its time can cause problems. So im doing just what you are...im keeping the process going without actually forcing it...like staying active and lots of sex. Lol

I was hoping to wait for my baby girl to be ready but because I have preeclampsia I have to be induced today, I was hoping for her to come naturally but they want her out before my due date which is next monday
