maternity clothes versus buying size medium/large what's everyone doing?

Hey guys,im 13 weeks tomorrow and my pants waist started squeezing me ages ago. Im wearing mostly tights, leggings, skirts and dresses. For my sweaters ive been buying medium so far. Im usually a small/size 4. What are you ladies doing? Anyone going in the maternity section of stores. I guess I don't want to look frumpy or unstylish. How do u feel?

I've picked up some great maternity bundles on eBay which have been great with a whole range of things in including nursing tops etc.

Honestly. I didn't have to buy maternity. I had some clothes that were larger, but I really wore my same jeans which were size 5-7(US size) and just had a band I used in place of the buttons on my pants. I still had some shirts that fit. You could just wait and see how you grow. Everyone is different.

I feel better in maternity clothes. They just fit better and i feel they look better. They are expensive to buy new. I like thrift store shopping. So that helps the cost.

For my jeans i use a belly band. U cant tell at all that ur pants arnt zipped. Personally i hate maternity pants.i usually only put weight on im my stomach so can still fit my jeans if they dont have to be zipped.

I feel like investing in larger clothes would be just as expensive as maternity depending on your style and what you need. My family has helped me purchase a majority of my maternity clothes but I have bought them all on sale!

Thrift store is my goto place. Very inexpensive as well. I even got maternity clothes for work and casual dress up.

In RSA we do not have a lot of options when it comes to maternity wear, but I was able to find a couple of nice longer shirts to wear over leggins and they were very affordable.

Hopefully I will be lucky enough to find more bargains like these if need be. Maternity pant look very nice and stylish and believe me when I say they are super comfy.

I am 15 weeks with my second and dont need maternity clothes yet. I have dug out my tote full though!  I mostly bought maternity clothes from thrift stores at great prices and you can be picky if they arent styles you like you just dont buy them. No pushy sales people!  I definetaly needed maternity clothes last pregnancy and expect i will again so i personally wouldnt want to but bigger clothes to have to turn around and buy maternity clothes.  I liked outfits that you can grow with.

I bought 2 good comfy and cute pairs of maternity leggings and that's it. And then I found these just plain comfy maternity tops that also are nursing shirts that I thought wow! I could use these for a while so that is the only maternity I've bought.  The rest just larger shirts.

I've gone with maternity shorts ( it's summer here) and some maternity tops but mainly just large tops from normal stores, anything with maternity on it costs 5x as much as normal!
