And looking at the bright aide they can even help around with their smaller sibling so lets not stress it will all be natural...they wont be the first or the last siblings to have some age difference i think it has its adavantages and disadvantages...just like having them to close in age...God gave us the perfect child for each of us...just for us....God bless all you mommies and babys on the way..

I am currently 5 weeks and my son will be 6 when our new baby arrives.  He's been asking for awhile about a baby brother or sister.  I just know he will do great and help out as well.

Neli2013 im so sorry you had to go through losing a  baby, you must be incredible to get through it! But having to explain something like that to a child, as understanding as they are at 7, is something i couldnt imagine, Zak will be 8 when little one is born, it just didnt seem to happen for us sooner!  i do think he will be a brilliant big brother, if the novelty of being a brother wears off when he realizes sometimes i wont be ablw to play if im feeding or changing baby, or if baby cries alot at night, and it is so hard not telling him when he wants a little sibling so much but at his age i dont think he understands everything that goes with newborn babies!  But yes at least at an older age we wont have to deal with terrible two or two sets of nappy changing!

My son is 8 he will be 9 when the baby arrives. I am hoping as a secondtime mom with a self saficiate child i will be able to enjoy the early years of our second child's life. oYou already had your crash course with the first. Time to enjoy this one in ways you couldn't being a first time mom...enjoy!!!
